The French are not that bad...
So they're really noisy when the world cup's on or whenever they feel like they have a reason to be proud. They give my non EU friends a real hard time coming over or living here. They keep complaining and going for strikes without even realising that they usually already have way more than most people, nor bothering to look at how other people are doing. They have terrible, terrible comedies. They impose us to hear at least 40% of French music on the radio. They're really nasty to customers when they work, especially when their work is supposed to consist in helping other people, which they usually do ineffectively and grudgingly. They vote for the far right way too much and for Europe way too less. The administration is oh so bad and slow (it took me a year to get the ultimate proof for my French citizenship). They have a aaarrrggging competitive system which makes you toil for years and if you fail the entrance competition you'll never get to be a doctor... or if you fail the recruitment competition, a teacher, and And they give a hard time to people sailing through their waters...
However, if I do go through these silly exams I'll have a job for life aaaaand they just reimbursed all my Uni fees, which comes with having a scholarship. So I actually won money rather than losing money this month :)
So you see the French aren't so bad.....
